Drink Driving Insurance

Getting drink driving insurance doesn’t have to be difficult with a DR10 conviction.

If you have a drink driving conviction, you will probably find it much harder to find car insurance. At Alternative Insurance Brokers, we have years of experience in finding what you might not be able to. When you have a DR10 code on your license, you need a broker that really understands your individual circumstances, and knows how to get you the help you need.

A drink driving conviction, or DR10 is something that you get if you are caught driving while being over the legal maximum limit of alcohol consumption. If you receive a conviction for drink driving, you will get between 3 and 11 points on your licence. The endorsement will stay on your licence for 11 years, and if you get more than 12 points on your licence in the next 3 years, you will get a total ban.

Convicted driver insurance from Alternative Insurance Brokers is based on you. We get to know you, your history, and what you need from your insurance. Our policies are built individually for you. That means that we need you to tell us as much about yourself as you can. If you don’t disclose all of your convictions, whether they are driving related or not, we will not be able to find you a quote.
